A little background
Hi, I’m Sam.
I’m Samira, but I go by Sam. I’m an engineer turned AI educator in Montreal. I publish hands-on tutorials on YouTube, host weekly AI meetups, and build apps.
I was a software engineer at Coinbase from May 2020 to December 2022, shipping to merchants. I was a founder in residence at Antler in Toronto in 2024, and I’ve been a technical founder since 2023.
What I’m working on
I’m building Cogito, an iPhone and Apple Watch app that makes voice notes available to AI agents. I’m also recording longer tutorials for AI actually and writing hands-on guides here.
On Saturdays, I host Modern Lyceum in Montreal, partnering with startups and tech companies. We go through what changed that week, then people show what they’ve tried.
